Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU) is the first national university in the Caucasus. It comprises 7 faculties, 16 independent scientific-research institutes, auxiliary educational and scientific units. Today the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University is one of the first scientific research institutions of Georgia. It implements about 200 local and international scientific grant programs annually.
