Overview
Established in 1990, Armenian Medical Institute (АМI) is the first private medical institution offering higher education on the post-Soviet territory and its establishment is possible mainly due to new and innovative thinking in the young Republic of Armenia. Presently there are more than 45 faculties and cycles which operate in АМI. More than 200 people work for the Institute which includes teaching staff (56 Doctors of Sciences); 54 professors; 4 academicians of RA Academy of Sciences and 15 members of various foreign academies. Higher excellence education, quality of professional education, and ethical integrity are core to AMI which help students in having an aspirational career post completing their studies from here. The graduates of our Institute start working as doctors post completing their medical studies from the institute and not only get jobs in the Republic of Armenia, but can also explore their career in other countries as well. Also, AMI is a coeducational higher education institution and offers courses and programs which lead to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Students from Indian and other nations travel every year for the MBBS studies and other professional courses facilitated at a comparatively low tuition fee.
